Alrighty everyone well this week was kinda hectic for me... nothing really seemed to fall into place on the personal level for me hahaha... I got pooped on while sitting in a lesson. A bird dropped a dookie on my left elbow and then flew off... JERK! We didnt even exchange licenses or proof of insurance... Dang pigeon. It was funny and we had a good laugh about it.
RUDY FINALLY CAME TO CHURCH! Wow it was pretty cool to finally see him there. Hes from Texas and speaks perfect english, but doesnt really take us seriously as missionaries... its kinda sad that he has so many problems, but doesnt really care enough to change them. He says he wants to, but never really acts on what he tells us so we will see how far that goes.... Wish us luck with him.
Rickity construction bridge and current area.
Hermana Karin came to church also with her younger daughters, Hadi and Gimena. She is preparing to be baptized this saturday and I am super stoked to finally see it happen. Her husband, Daniel, may be able to be baptized as well. Hes only come once, but the assistants to the pres. said it was okay. We need to talk with him to see what he thinks. But the baptism is planned for this coming saturday at 7pm and we have to still teach here three more lessons.... talk about cramped time.... oh well. She WILL be baptized =)
We havent had any contact with our inactive friend Alfred... its sad, but we are trying to get a meeting with him this week before the end of transfers... He mentioned that he wanted to take us out to eat so we will have to see what happens there.
We went to Villa and just signed the papers for our Visas and left... it wasn't anything too exciting. I got to see Elder Haglund again and wow the guy has lost so much weight.... he is as skinny as I am.... I couldnt believe it.
Well thats all for this week everyone. I will send a voice recording next week and hopefully it all works out without any issues =) Thank you for sharing the stories about the Color Run and the Star Destroyer,... hahaha sounds like everyone had a good start to the week with all the events that happened =) Keep it that way cuz I wanna be a part of it when I get back ya hear?! Keep it up guys =)
Love you all!

Hey there Familia!
This week was rather boring to be completely honest... The only exciting part was that we had a Zone Conference with president and his family. It was normal and everything went fine. We ended up going to the zoo and then  playing sports on the beach in Playa Norte... My old area... haha It was fun trying to watch President hit a volleyball. (Im really getting into it too! I think Id be good at it =) All of that happened on Friday afternoon. It took from 7 in the morning until about 6 at night... it was a very long day for all of us.
Alfred has really been struggling lately... I feel so bad for this man. He might break up with his GF because he feels that she only mooches off him and takes more money that he doesnt have. On top of that, he lost his wallet and is now trying to sue the bank for something that they did with his credit cards... The man feels like the world is out to get him and I really have to no idea what to tell him. I read the scripture that mom sent me last week, DC 58:3-7 and it seemed like it stuck with him, but who knows. He invited us to go eat with him tomorrow so we will see what happens with that one.
Ajenor probably wont be baptized this week due to the fact that his marraige papers havent come in quite yet. He is going to let us know about that on wednesday what happens. If they come through, he gets married and baptized on Thursday! oorah!
Daniel and Karin came to church yesterday! FINALLY! Daniel said that he had a good time, and that he really liked the last class of the Elders Quorum. We have appointments with him and his wife this next wednesday so I am hoping that things stay strong with them. Theyre awesome people, just need a little more direction in their lives. The gospel is perfect fot that right? =) I think so =)
I went on divisions with Elder Parra, the new assistant while he was here in carmen and he gave me a really good idea about how to email you guys. He had an MP3 player that could record his voice and then was able to hook into the computer as a USB. He said it really helps him when it comes to writing letters because he can just record what he wants to say and then send it on mondays. I asked him where to get one and he said downtown carmen. They cost about 800 pesos or so though. Thats about 90 dollars mas o menos. I want to know what you think about that. Itd help me out with this writing thing every week. Let me know. I could really use one.
I love you guys and hope you have a great week! Youre awesome and cant wait to see you next July!

What a crazy week this week! Man, I cant get over all the stuff that has happened....
First off, we met with a member named Jorge Ramirez... turns out that he studied to be a lawyer in the US and lived about 5 minutes from our house! Crazy right! He lived right next to Harmons where the church is there on the corner almost... He explained that he loved it there, but knew that god had a better plan for him here. He is the Sunday School President in the ward now and works as a full time masoos.... (not sure how to spell that one...) But he is a really cool guy. Likes to talk a lot, but is as solid as a rock as far as the gospel goes. Hes a big inspiration to me as a missionary. He is always looking for ways to help someone else in their needs and has always been very nice to us missionaries.
We were invited to Hermana Angie's 3 year old birthday party yesterday night (the youngest sister of Maria Jose.) It was really awkward for us as missionaries walking into a house full of catholic people but we had fun watching this young girl whack the pinata and scurry around with her friends for the candy. We got invited so we couldnt turn it down. Their family has always been so great to us and I couldnt refuse the invitation. I love them and their family so much. I cant wait to be able to baptize her sisters... they just need permission from the parents. Pray for em!
Ajenor, Daniel, and Karen are still going strong... but not one of them attended church this last week... TRISTE! Ugh its really frustrating when you get the text saying, "yeah, we slept in instead..." It kills me because I was always an early riser and never had problems planning ahead of time if I had previously made an appointment, but its whatever. We are still planning for the baptism of Ajenor on the 21st. Karen for the 30th and Daniel on the 13th we are thinkin about that one still... not sure whats going to happen with him.
Hanging with Sergio

A good friend of ours, Sergio took us out to Applebees on wednesday morning because he "was lonely" and wanted  friend to go with him. Of course he calls up to missionaries =) We had a blast being able to chow down on some pancakes  =) I had a good time, and I was super stuffed afterwards. I love that guy =)
Crab caught in a members home . . . dinner?

Fuzzy grape fruit, take the fuzz off before you eat, expensive but good.

Elders P and M after the rainstorm.

Well, thats it for this week! I love you all and hope you have a great week!

With the disappointments of last weeks events, this weeks letter I am sure will be cut very short. But, like always, I will try my best.
Things were rather tough, not because of the events that happened, but because of the fact that we found out a lot of information that shocked elder Maciel and I... Hermana Karin came to church yesterday with her two young girls and said she loved it! Oorah! But, her husband admitted to us the saturday before, that he had been committing adultery with a woman living in the house in front of the house of Hermana Karins mom, Gloria. Along with that, they two of them both told us that Hermana Gloria had been just cheating us and telling us, the missionaries, what we wanted to hear... She doesnt care about what we say. It was really tough to hear because we thought she was such a great investigator. Hermana Karin is amazing and still going strong with everything. She really wants this change in her life and its great to see it all coming into place. She has a baptismal date for the 23rd of this month and her husband wont be long afterwards... he just has a lot of doubts that are rather touchy to cover and answer sometimes. We are working with him though. Hermano Ajenor, the son in law of the bishop, has plans to be baptized on the 21st of this month on the same day as his marriage.... I cant wait to see this one fall into place. Hes super cool, just hard to get into contact with due to his work schedule. We are both working with him and praying that things are still staying strong with him.

Those are basically the major events of the week. Nothing overly huge or exciting, but hey, we are working our hardest and trying our best. Its tough to hear the things we did this week (let alone the things that I've been through this week also) but I cant really do anything about it. I am praying, asking for the success that we have worked so hard for and I finally feel that its coming in. Just gotta keep moving forward. I am obedient. I am working harder than I ever have. I am trying my best. I am proud of the way I have served. I am proud to be a missionary. I am proud to be a Proctor.
Love you all, hope you have a great a fun filled week.

PS- Yeah we had a Zone Class this last week and I received word that they packages got stuck at the border... dang government.... But Elder Sepulveda told me to tell you not to send things through DHL because they always get checked harder and more intense than through other shipping methods. Just send it like normal and we wont have any issues like this. I am fine on contacts to last for a few more months... I wont have to resort to glasses quite yet. But thank you for sending me the necessities. Love you guys!
